About Us

Koboko Institute of Sciences and Technology (KIST) is a health training tertiary institution founded by Pioneer Health Foundation (PHF), a registered company established to offer medical services and training of health workers in Uganda. PHS has two sister companies,namely;
1. Pioneer Health Services that was established in 2011 to offer medical services in branch network model in the West Nile districts of Arua, Yumbe, Maracha Nebbi and Koboko.
2. Koboko Institute of Science and Technology is licensed in 2017 to take care of the training element of PHF.
The institute is established to offer allied health courses such as Medical Laboratory Technology, Pharmacy, Clinical medicine, Medical radiography, Orthopaedic medicine, Environmental health science and Health management sciences. However, the initial courses that shall be offered as per academic year 2017/2018 will be Certificate in Medical laboratory technology and Diploma in pharmacy. The other programs shall be introduced as the resource capacity may allow.
The institute has governing council constituted to represent the interests of the various stake holders according to the provisions of the Universities and other tertiary institutions act 2001.

I take this chance to introduce to you the best science and Technology School in Koboko, West-Nile and the Whole of Republic of Uganda, Koboko Insitute of Science and Technology.
