Research4Life is the first On Line Research Recource Center Koboko Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) registered with to help the Institution staff, students to offer online resources for research to improve extra learning Learning in the wide area scope.

Research4Life Through their programmes, staff and students at our institution will have access to one of the world’s largest collections of scientific and technical literature, offered by the leading international scientific publishers.

How to Access or Log in for More Research


After Clicking/visiting each of the above Programmes or the official website look for Access Content and click on the “Access Content” and this takes you to new window or Interface, Welcome to Research4Life. Look for the Icon of Login in the Nav Bar Next to EN and after clicking on the Login Icon this takes you to filling the login details

The Library of Koboko Institute of Science & Technology

Koboko Institute of Science & Technology Library and Resource Centre serves more than 100 users including Kist staff, students undertaking training and placements at the centre, and other registered library users.
Library’s Vision
To refocus priorities to place greater emphasis on e-services; remain critical in delivery of library services, combining access to print collections while offering the much needed learning environment and to facilitate longer opening hours and enhance the support that library users need.
Library’s Mission
To support the mission and strategic goals of Koboko Institute of Health Science & Technology.
Library Objectives:
1.To make the Library as easy to use independently as possible and manage the collections in ways that assist users in finding the books that they need.
2.To maintain a silent cool study environment
3.To make access and use of e-Library services as easy as possible
4.To place help and support at the centre of the Library services
5.To raise awareness of Library services available to students and all staff by engaging in more effective marketing of library services.
Opening Hours:
The library operates within the following timings:
Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 4:45pm
Saturday – Sunday (Closed)
Public holidays (closed)

Note:
The Library is closed on Weekends and Public holidays. However, special weekends are often arranged during study peak days especially for weekend students at the request of the particular week end Lectures.
